A promotion event for renewable fuels was held on Wednesday, April 15 at Coop's Corner C-store in Belgrade. The Belgrade Co-op joined forces with the Minnesota Corn Growers Association for a two-hour period during which E-85 and E-15 fuel was discounted by a wide margin. For E-85, fuel was discounted by 85 cents, and for E-15, fuel was discounted by 88 cents. E-15 is also referred to as 88 octane fuel.
Minnesota Corn Growers Association members and Belgrade Co-op employees assisted with the gas pumps.
