The City of Brooten has immediate openings for firefighters. This position reports directly to the Fire Chief. Minimum qualifications include the following: Applicant must be at least 18 years of age, must live within an acceptable distance to the Brooten Fire Hall, must have a valid MN drivers license, must be available to be on-call for immediate response to fire calls at all hours of the day or night and on weekends and holidays and may need permission to leave your worksite for a call, must attend meetings, drills, and training sessions and meet some physical fitness standards for the job. No previous firefighting experience necessary. These positions offer a salary and retirement benefits.
