Long-time high school science teacher Keith Clementson has passed away. His obituary was received by The Voice from his family on Tuesday this week (March 12). A celebration of life in his honor will be held on Friday, July 19 this coming summer from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Paynesville R.O.S.E. Center. Clementson volunteered there for many years in his retirement. The Voice newspaper publisher is deeply saddened by news of his passing. The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Resistance Robotics team was one of 56 teams at the Great Northern regional competition in Grand Forks. The regional was held on March 6-9 at the Alerus Center. B-B-E's team pulled off a thoroughly impressive comeback on Friday and Saturday as they endured tremendous adversity. While competing in North Dakota for the third straight year, the robotics team had to contend with unforeseen and nearly impossible-to-predict mechanical failures that cost them a smooth journey through the regional.
