    Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa high school hosted their 31st annual Homecoming coronation on Monday, September 23 in the school auditorium. Freshmen, sophomore and junior attendants joined 10 senior Homecoming King and Queen candidates for the program and crowning.     September marks when students go back to school and the Pope and Stevens County Soil and Water Conservation District's plan and hold an outdoor Water Fest. This September has proven to be above average for rainfall and did present some logistic challenges. The event went on as planned on Friday the 13th.     Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa schools held their fifth annual Color FUND Run event on Wednesday, September 25 under sunny and partially-cloudy skies with temperatures hovering in the low to mid-60s with a strong northwest wind.
