A recent study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) has shown that trace amounts of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine can be found in human breast milk. Most participants in the study were between the ages of 33 and 38, while one participant was 22. A benefit was recently held for Chris Schulz and Jenelle Benton at the KaDe Shack in Brooten to help raise funds as the two Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Class of 1991 graduates fight through severe health issues. A silent auction, supper and other activities were held on Saturday, September 17 that drew a large crowd from across the area. St. Donatus Catholic church hosted a wildly successful fall ham and turkey dinner on Saturday, September 18 at the Padua Pub banquet hall.
