    Nov 1, 2018

An eight-year long drought is over at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa. How sweet it is! On Saturday, November 3 at Little Falls high school, a battle of volleyball heavyweights played out for almost two hours for a fiercely-challenged outcome. When match point was achieved, the result was a 3-1 win in favor of the 10th-ranked B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team. Medford, unseeded, was unfazed by the specter of two-time defending state champion and No. 2-seeded Mayer Lutheran in their Thursday quarterfinal match. The Tigers fell behind 2-1 in sets, but they came out on absolute fire in game four, led 6-0 early and proceeded to smoke...
