Grief Support group in Belgrade
Whether you are grieving a recent loss or one from years ago, all are welcome to meet with others who have known similar losses, including loss of a parent, child, sibling, spouse, job, or health. This group meets once each month for 90 minutes on the third Tuesday of the month. Their next meeting is Tuesday, August 20 at the Big Grove/Crow River/Grace Lutheran parish office in Belgrade from 6:30 to 8 p.m. (downtown Belgrade at the municipal building). Pope County Farm Bureau Breakfast on the Farm
The Pope County Farm Bureau invites everyone to their Labor Day Breakfast on the Farm, which is coming to Anderson Farms of Crow Lake Township in rural Belgrade. They will be serving breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon while hosting numerous activities focusing on the animal husbandry of pigs. Topics that the public can learn about include crop irrigation, crop trials, raising kidney beans and sugar beets plus biosecurity. The Anderson Farms address is 44338 County Road 19, Belgrade, which is roughly 2 miles due west of town from the Menard's location on County Road 19. 15th annual Sunburg Trolls Classic Car Show and Swap Meet
Don't miss out on a trip to scenic Sunburg on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, for the 15th annual Trolls Classic Car Show at Willie Reigstad baseball field and the Sunburg Community Center. Registration is 9 to 11 a.m. with voting completed by noon. Trophies and awards will be given at 2 p.m. The car show entry fee is just $10, and spectators can come for free! Food will be served on the grounds, and very good craft and homemade items will be for sale! (No bikes or dogs - no exception!) Also, Hope Lutheran church will serve a hearty breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. that morning. Adults just $8, and kids ages 10 and under $4.

Trinity Lutheran Grove Lake church fall festival
The faith community of Trinity Lutheran church of Grove Lake invites everyone to their Fall Festival on Sunday, September 8 at their church on the south side of Grove Lake with serving from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The dinner menu includes pulled pork sandwiches, beans, cole slaw, applesauce, chips and an incredible selection of delicious homemade pies. An assortment of fall garden produce will also be on sale!

The parishioners of Chippewa Falls Lutheran church of Terrace invite everyone to their fall turkey dinner on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
