Santa Claus visited with over 100 youth in Brooten on December 7

Over a two-hour period on the afternoon of Saturday, December 7, over 100 area children visited with Santa Claus at the Brooten Lanes. The B-B-E Girl Scouts and Brooten Lanes owner Lyle Johnson were gracious hosts for Santa Claus and provided crafting activities and a huge selection of treats and goodies to enjoy.
Below is video of the conclusion of Santa's visit to Brooten. The crowd went to the KaDe Shack across the street after this to enjoy the chili feed, bake sale and kids' bingo activities hosted by the B-B-E Cub Scouts. A gift certificate drawing was also held at the KaDe Shack, sponsored by numerous Brooten businesses. The list of winners of the certificates was published in the December 26 issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper.
