Belgrade Commercial Club to meet via Zoom

The Belgrade Commercial Club will hold a meeting this week (Wednesday, May 6) via the telecommunication software called Zoom. To join the meeting, a person is asked to e-mail Julie Loe at ( ) before Tuesday night (May 5) at 8 p.m. The Zoom software is required to be able to participate in the meeting. If your computer does not have a working microphone, you can still listen in to the meeting.

In a media statement, the Commercial Club said, "We feel it is not safe for us to meet in person at this point, but it is important we have a meeting. The pandemic has caused a lot of local families and businesses hardships and it is important we look at what we could do as a club to help during these trying times."

• Essential worker appreciation ideas

• Donations during COVID-19 outbreak.

The 2020 Belgrade August Fest is still scheduled for August 7 and August 8. At this time, no concrete agenda is in place. It is the belief of the Belgrade Commercial Club and Belgrade August Fest Committee to wait until we are closer to July 1 to make any further decisions regarding the status of August Fest activities.
