A large crowd of all ages shown at the Danielson farm in rural Sunburg on Saturday, September 11 as they watched Bill Litzau and Open Highway perform.

The site of the Danielson farm in Hayes Township, Swift County, rural Sunburg was the site of a magnificent set of concerts on Saturday, September 11. With a large American Flag waving high over the concert grounds, four bands performed across a 13-hour stretch that day.

The live music started at 2 p.m. with the Steffl Sisters and friends, and at 5 p.m. Bill Litzau and Open Highway began performing. Later in the evening, Highway 101 with Paulette Carlson performed at the onset of dusk. Shortly after 11 p.m., Kentucky Thunder began their two-hour performance.

Video is added below of Kentucky Thunder. Their lead singer, Brad Danielson, is a 1996 graduate of Minnewaska Area high school. He's a trucker by trade and the type of guy you always want in your corner of the ring!
