BVD T-shirts go on sale on Monday, July 6 in Brooten

The Bonanza Valley Days celebration in Brooten, Minnesota, kicks off on Thursday, July 9 with the start of garage sales plus the Brooten Farmers Market No. 1 of the summer followed by BVD Worship in the Park. The events continue for two full days on Friday and Saturday before winding down with a handful of big-time events on Sunday, July 12.
The Brooten Farmers Market runs 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the city park. This is followed by the non-denominational BVD Worship in the Park led by Deacon Tim Pribula, who was the Brooten Memorial Day speaker on May 24.
Bonanza Valley Days T-shirts are for sale...starting on Monday, July 6...you can purchase a BVD T-shirt for only $20 at either The Local Pantry or at Bonanza Valley State Bank. The community is extremely fortunate to have these two locally-owned businesses willing and able to help sell BVD shirts!

On Sunday, July 12, the events include:
1. the B-B-E Scouting America Waffle Feed (8 a.m. to noon) at the city park by the Brooten Pavilion.
2. the Brooten Class of 1976 Reunion starting at noon at the KaDe Shack.
3. the BVD Grand Parade at 1:30 p.m. starting on main street in downtown Brooten.
4. an Ice Cream Social sponsored by Bonanza Valley State Bank to take place after the parade at the north-facing kitchen window of the Brooten Pavilion.
5. the Miss Brooten royalty program starting after the parade (usually right around 3 p.m.) at the Brooten Pavilion.
