A long, long list of activities are taking place this coming weekend for Halloween. This will be updated throughout the week.
Belgrade Lion's Fish Fry, Meat Raffle and Cash Raffle
The Belgrade Lions invites everyone to their fall Fish Fry and meat/cash raffle night on Friday, October 29 at the Brother's Bar in downtown Belgrade. The fish fry starts at 5 p.m. and runs through about 8 p.m. (or until gone), and you can call ahead for a takeout order at 320-254-8299. The fish fry is just $10 for all-you-can-eat fish! Meat raffles run all night. The cash raffle drawings start at 9 p.m. with a grand prize of $10,000. Tickets are $100 each, and you need not be present to win. The Brother's Bar is located at 411 Washburn Avenue.
Belgrade Nursing Home Halloween announcement: Announcement for area children! Trick-or-treaters are welcome to stop by and pick up a treat bag at the Belgrade Nursing Home between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Halloween night, Sunday, Oct. 31.
Brother's Bar Halloween Bash
On Saturday, October 30, starting at noon, the Brother's Bar in Belgrade will host a Halloween Bash with a costume contest, all-day jello shots and a bloody bar from 12 to 6 p.m. Also, starting at 8 p.m., ACDC Deejay Al Braegelman will start playing. The costume contest judging is at 10 p.m.
KaDe Shack in Brooten hosting Halloween Costume Party
Come to the KaDe Shack on Saturday, October 30 for a Halloween costume party. Dress up! Win some money! Sing and dance! The KaDe Shack will have a Deejay with karaoke with DJ Blaze of Firehouse Sounds from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. that night.
Belgrade V.F.W. live music and costume contest
Something is brewing for Halloween at the Belgrade V.F.W.! They will host a Halloween costume contest with live music on Saturday, October 30 starting at 8:30 p.m. Come to the V.F.W. that night to enjoy classic country music performed by 3D and Cousin Nicky. Cash prizes of $50 for best couple's, scariest, funniest and overall best costumes. Drawings will be held for free drinks. (Must be 21 to participate in the costume contest)
