The outlook is grim for states such as New York and California, which have some of the worst leaders on the planet. These are people who put in an extra effort to be especially terrible at leading a state.
From the middle of 2022 to the middle of 2023, the state of New York lost over 100,000 people. Amazing! To be that terrible at leading a state government, these states' governors have to put in extra effort at doing awful work every day of the week.
