BBE elementary holds second quarter Jaguar Pride party (VIDEO)

On Friday, January 12, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa elementary school hosted a Jaguar Pride party that helped mark the end of the second quarter of the 2023-2024 school year.

With the full grades K-5 student body gathered in the main gymnasium, members of the elementary recycling committee provided useful reminders about the "do's" and "don'ts" of recycling in the building.

Janitor Eric Johnson provided a big "Thank you" to Kylie Wagner, Kinlee Wiechman, Sadie Krupke and Luke Bromenshenkel for the volunteer work they provide at lunch time to help with cleaning the tables.

Elementary principal Josie Dingmann then named the new students selected to the Jaguar Pride leadership committee. This student team will help with decision-making in the school and also provide feedback to school staff on what they see going on in the school.

The Jaguar Pride party concluded with all students playing dribbling or shooting basketball games.

The attached video features the beginning of the Jaguar Pride party leading up to the basketball games.
