The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa speech team hosted their year-ending showcase plus an awards banquet on Saturday, April 27. At head coach Emily Sackreiter's high school Spanish classroom, the showcase took place in front of family, the coaches and friends with each student or duo pairs giving their speech.
The team's theme for this season was from the Pixar movie Inside Out: "When you allow yourself to feel, you allow yourself to be free."
From the showcase, the team and its entourage made the short trip east to the Eagle's Nest bar and grill in Regal, where they held their awards banquet. In the attached video recorded in Regal that night, senior Samantha Baker, a tri-captain, provides gifts and special words for her fellow captains, Jeffrey Cihlar and Tia Nelson.
