Belgrade VFW Auxiliary Steak and Pork Chop Fry
The Belgrade VFW Post No. 1825 Ladies Auxiliary will host a steak fry and pork chop feed on Saturday, June 7 at the Club Home in Belgrade. Everyone invited! They will serve from 5 to 7:30 p.m., and a meat raffle will also take place during that time, so bring your dollar bills and come ready to have a good time!

Parishes on the Prairie Church Social with outdoor Mass
The Parishes on the Prairie Catholic ACC of Sauk Centre, Belgrade, Brooten, Elrosa and West Union invite everyone to their annual summer Church Social on Sunday, June 29 on the grounds of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Elrosa. The day begins with an outdoor Mass (weather-permitting) starting at 10:30 a.m. The church social activities, which feature a free lunch meal, will run from noon to 5 p.m.

Monson Lake Opry Festival in rural Sunburg
The Monson Lake Opry Festival is coming on Friday and Saturday, September 5 and 6 in rural Sunburg, Hayes Township in eastern Swift County. (Address: 225 170th Avenue N.E., Sunburg) Playing Friday is Little Texas and the Bellamy Brothers plus Kentucky Thunder. On Saturday, Kentucky Thunder will play again. Also playing Saturday: Ben Haggard, Joshua Hedley and Pam Tillis (headliner). Gates open at 3 p.m. on both days, and camping is available by calling or texting Brad at 320-314-2066. SIXTH annual Harvest Fest at Rustic Designs Flower Farm
What day is fall harvest fest? Sunday September 21, 2025; What time is harvest fest? 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. How should I dress? Dress for the weather with good walking shoes! Are there restrooms? Yes, one restroom in the farm store and a outdoor port a pot. Is there food? Yes, we have vendors offering coffee and water to snacks and meal options. What vendors are there? Yes, we have a full list coming soon! What to expect? Walk the grounds, check out the craft vendors, eat some food, walk the flower field, cut some flowers, check out the farm store, and take lots of photos! Parking attendants will be working the parking areas. Come and spend the day!
