The modern-era push for "DEI" and "wokeness" in the workplace, in entertainment and in the business world in general is coming to an end. It could not happen soon enough. It is a sad day in America when a truly phenomenal professional athlete like Caitlin Clark needs to apologize for being white. She was rightly named Time magazine's 2024 Athlete of the Year this past week, which is an honor she earned through hard work and perseverance. Sadly, she has provided a few comments since receiving that award suggesting she feels bad for being recognized for her talent. That is wrong.
