Peggy Flanagan's campaign acts like clowns to the media

At 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, the Peggy Flanagan campaign emailed the Bonanza Valley Voice a press release about a campaign stop she was making that same morning in Sauk Centre. Only a clown show of a political campaign would give a small town newspaper advance notice on the morning of an event, especially on a weekend. It is insulting that their campaign would think that a small town editor would be checking email just past sunrise on a Saturday morning.

For openness to the public and transparency's sake, the Bonanza Valley Voice is sharing the Flanagan campaign's press release below. She is running for the U.S. Senate and the DFL endorsement, but her campaign will have to do much, much better than this.

On Sunday morning, January 11, the Flanagan campaign provided a 24-hour notice about her campaign stop in St. Cloud. That does this newspaper no good, as St. Cloud is far beyond the coverage area of The Voice. However, for the sake of transparency and openness, we will share that campaign stop information: Monday, January 12 at 5:30 p.m. at Pantown Brewing Company – 408 37th Avenue North, Saint Cloud, MN 56303.
