Spring planting is in full swing

Temperatures are set to break 80 degrees on Friday, May 15 across central Minnesota and beyond. For farmers in the Bonanza Valley area, spring planting is in full swing. Many smaller grain farmers have all their small grain and corn planted. The Bonanza Valley Voice spoke with Mark Walsh, who farms in Burbank and Colfax Townships, who said that as of May 11, all of his corn was planted.
