Stray cats

The town of Brooten, like many small towns, has a stray cat problem. In some parts of town, as many as 7 or 8 stray cats can be seen roaming the neighborhood. It's too many. The stray cat population of Brooten is too high. Cat and dog owners need to keep their pets on their own property. If they can't do that, they should not be pet owners. That's a fairly straightforward concept.

In the attached photo, a picture is shown of a beautiful, clean-looking stray cat spotted relaxing on a curbside in Brooten early in the morning on Friday, May 29 near the elementary school. This particular cat is not necessarily tame, but it was not jittery like a normal stray cat.
