On Wednesday, May 21, members of the graduating Class of 2025 at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa were greeted by K-5 elementary students in Brooten. The community of Grove Lake hosted a Memorial program that featured local veterans and a short prayer service on the shores of Grove Lake at the township park. Children participated by placing wreaths and flowers at gravesites at the two cemeteries adjacent to County Road 39 south of town. On Wednesday, April 30 at the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa elementary school, band students in grades 4 and 5 performed numerous musical pieces to kick off the spring concert held that afternoon.
