Stop signs have been added to main street Brooten, right on Second Street, as of Thursday, April 15, 2021. The flow of traffic down Second Street (south of the KaDe Shack) has been established to flow west towards the school. The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa speech team competed in the Sub-Section 5A-South meet last Thursday night, April 8, and they turned in an excellent showing for a team with no seniors on the roster. Finishing in first place in their categories for B-B-E were Amber Stephani in Discussion, Lily Kallevig in Extemporaneous Reading and Aidan Johnson in Informative.
