    The Brooten Commercial Club continues to have unpaid debt with the Minnesota Department of Revenue as well as the Internal Revenue Service. The tax debt with Minnesota surpasses $17,450. The tax debt with the federal government tops $35,000. As of June 2, no payments have been made on the BCC's delinquent account with MN-DOR since a $46,016.73 payment was made on January 30, according to state records. After being held on hiatus due to Governor Tim Walz's executive order restricting recreational and outdoor activities, area amateur baseball teams held multiple games over the weekend of June 12, 13 and 14.
