    The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa elementary school will be holding a Veteran's Day Program on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Following that, the B-B-E high school will be holding a Veteran's Day Program on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. These Veteran's Day programs will feature the Voice of Democracy winners.     The Jaguar Kids Connection and preschool kids dressed up in costumes and walked around the hallways in the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa elementary school on Friday for a Halloween parade.   • Honoring those who have served

    If I had endless time and many free hours each day, I'd write about every veteran I could find in our area. Instead, with limited free time in the past two weeks, I decided to focus on the oldest veterans I could talk to and go from there. This brings me to veterans who served in World War II or the Korean War. This week I have the honor of sharing stories from Donnie Beyl and John O.     A shocking end crushed the hearts of Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa players and fans alike on Saturday night when the Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers throttled the Jaguars in a 3-1 sub-section semifinal win at Long Prairie. After B-B-E won continuous sub-section semifinal matches in Class 2A from 2002 to 2006 and then in Class 1A from 2007 to 2013, they have now lost two straight in that stage of the playoffs and have gone 1-1 in the postseason two years in a row.
