January events at Goat Ridge Brewing Co.

Chris Holm, acoustic folk blues and country musician based in Minneapolis.

Goat Ridge Brewing Co. in New London has announced a list of events coming in January 2018. The highlight is a January residency with Chris Holm every Friday in January at 7:30 p.m.

Chris Holm is an acoustic folk blues & country musician based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A fingerstyle guitar picker and harmonica player, Chris channels the high-spirited liveliness of Charley Patton, thumping on his suitcase drum, attacking his guitar strings with abandon, and shouting along in a gravelly howl, later to channel the lonesome sounds of a weeping slide guitar and a blue yodel.

Also coming is Dave & Kathy's 60th Jan-BRRR-EEE on Saturday, January 13. Come warm up your tootsies and toast two of our absolute FAV's birthdays at Goat Ridge! The schedule includes Hurricane Harold with Jeff Ray and the Stakes at 4:30 p.m. The nightcap features the always-popular Bernie King & The Guilty Pleasures at 7:30 p.m.

Finishing up the month is The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler on Saturday, January 27 (in the side bar) at 7:30 p.m. with a $10 cover charge at the door.

Goat Ridge Brewing Co. is located along the scenic and beautiful middle fork of the Crow River, 17 Central Avenue West, New London, MN 56273. Find them online at http://www.goatridgebrewing.com
