Brooten Electric team wins Harvest for Hunger foosball tournament in Elrosa

The team from Brooten Electric, Inc. won the 11-team CHS-Prairie Lakes human foosball tournament, a fundraiser for the Harvest For Hunger campaign, on March 10 in Elrosa. Second place went to CHS-Elrosa, and Bucky's Bar took third place. Other teams were Pirates of Swanville, Gruber Baling and Kollman Repair.

The following groups donated in some fashion: Gruber Baling, Greenwald Pub, Brooten Electric, Kollman Repair, Segaar Farms, Bucky's Bar, CHS-Elrosa shop, Worms Custom Harvest, Sherpings, Harry's Pizza, CHS-Prairie Lakes Hoffman office, MN National Bank Sauk Centre, A&H Concrete and Lakes Area Portables.

Proceeds and donations go to our area and local food shelves. At least one in six households are food insecure (source: Feeding America); as such, every dollar of money or pound of food you donate makes a difference. You can still donate cash, grain and food to all CHS-Prairie Lakes locations through March 20.
