The Terrace Mill Children's Theatre was founded in 1999, by the former Terrace Mill Foundation Board President James Torbert, and Board Member Julie Lloyd, who has served as the resident director of the Terrace Mill Children's Theatre. Originally founded as a one week Children's Theatre Workshop, the group began producing musicals in a 10 day stretch beginning in 2002. Due to popularity, Terrace Mill Children's Theatre produced 2 summer musicals for 10 seasons, and has presented 26 musicals in addition to 3 non-musicals when the program first began. Participants reign from Pope County, surrounding communities, the Twin Cities, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Florida, Kentucky, New Hampshire, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Maryland. All distant participants had a connection to the Glenwood area through grandparents or other familial ties.

The Terrace Mill Children's Theatre wishes to acknowledge all former participants, by inviting them to join us at a performance of OZ! For those that are unable to attend, a family member or friend can attend in their absence. Any former participants or family members/friends attending, are asked to call Julie Lloyd at 320-424-0107, so proper acknowledgement can be made. Additional former members wishing to participate in the performance can be accommodated.

Don't miss The Terrace Mill Children's Theatre 20th Anniversary Spectacular! The operation of the Terrace Mill is funded in part by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council through a Minnesota State Legislative appropriation.
