Brooten Farmers Market season continues!
ANNOUNCEMENT: the Brooten Farmers Market, which is still seeking vendors to join, will hold their 12th session of the 2025 season on Thursday, September 11 at the city park - under the trees! (*RAIN or SHINE! Shelter and gazebo in use if it's raining.) The Brooten Farmers Market runs from 4 to 7 p.m., and it continues on Thursdays through July, August and into September. Mar-Haven Greens, a golf course for veterans, is hosting their 8th annual Veteran Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 13. (623 Colfax Road NW, Belgrade) Featuring an entry fee of a free will donation; also including door prizes and a meal provided after the tournament. Equine Inspired Soul open house is September 15 in rural Belgrade
An open house at the barn will be held on Monday, September 15 at Equine Inspired Soul, a rural Belgrade business focusing on healing with horses, "Compassion, Healing, Empowerment" and owned and operated by Tanya and Adam Dingmann. The event begins with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m., and this is followed by a presentation of their mission and offerings at 4:15. A special Meet the Horses and Tour of the grounds is at 4:45, and a horse demo is at 5 p.m. Dingmann gives a special note that children are welcome. Brink's Beer Joint Turkey Fest in Swift Falls
Turkey Fest is coming once again to Swift Falls, courtesy of Brink's Beer Joint, on Saturday, September 20. The fun begins with a 1 p.m. bean bag tournament ($20/team and 100% payout). The First Responder Potluck Turkey Cook-Off is from 3 to 5 p.m. (call 320-843-4900 to sign up) and the classic car show with no entry fee is also 3 to 5 p.m. The show features a $100 gift certificate prize for the People's Choice. For the children: bouncy house, face painting and kids games and prizes. The Turkey Fest parade is at 5:30 p.m., and the top float there also receives a $100 gift certificate. Live music by Darren Beyer will be performed from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Sedan Fire Relief Association will hold their 18th annual 40-Gun Raffle at Heidi’s Bar on Saturday, September 20 at 7 p.m. Everyone invited! Come grab a bite to eat, drinks and have a good time. Must be 18 and eligible to register a firearm or automatic forfeit. No guns to be released the night of the event. Transfer fees are the responsibility of the winner. Tickets are sold by Sedan Fire Department members at $100 each.

B-B-E Community Education Women's Expo
