The Section 4A football seedings have gone official. The rankings are out, and the pairings are set for the Tuesday, October 26 playoff openers. The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars football team has earned the No. 2 playoff seed in Section 4A. This is a huge achievement for the team. It's their best playoff ranking since 2017, when they entered the Section 4A playoffs as the No. 1 seed. The Jaguars were seeded No. 4 in the 2015 playoffs, when they went 1-1.

Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, fresh off of their first win of the season, is the No. 7 seed in Section 4A, which puts them into the quarterfinal round pairing with the Jaguars.

Kickoff for the Section 4A playoff opener will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26 at the B-B-E high school football stadium. The Jaguars will be looking for their second win of the season over LP-GE, as the Jaguars beat the Thunder for Homecoming on October 1.
