In the second half, the Jaguars traded baskets for most of the first six minutes of play. They began cutting into the double-digit deficit with 11:40 to go, when Abby Berge scored on a fastbreak and drained an and-one opportunity at the line: Holdingford 43, B-B-E 36.

A steal and layup by Tiyana Schwinghammer with 6 minutes left in the game tied it at 48-48. B-B-E's defense took over, and the Huskers were ultimately held to just four points in the game's final 6 minutes and 54 seconds. Final score: B-B-E 62, Holdingford 52. The Huskers fell to 2-1.

The Jaguars (2-0) are set to host Osakis on Friday, December 10 for a non-conference game. The Silverstreaks are 1-1 after beating Paynesville Area 62-36 in their home and season opener and losing 54-48 to Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta last Friday at Morris.
