The annual Syttende Mai celebration is coming to the town of Sunburg in the northwest corner of Kandiyohi County on Sunday, May 18. This event features a full day of family-friendly activities for all ages. In the attached video, Sunburg Fire department member Milton Tollefson is shown reading out the winners of the Sunburg Trolls Car Club raffle winners on May 19, 2024. This was one of the final activities of the day.
The Sunburg Trolls Car Club hosts their annual classic car and truck show every year on Labor Day at the town's baseball field and adjacent park near the school building and fire hall.
