Experienced Certified Nurse Midwife joins Women's Health team at Glacial Ridge Health System

Anne Gilbertson, CNM, a certified nurse midwife with over 14 years of experience in women's health, is joining Glacial Ridge Health System and will begin seeing patients on August 4. Appointments are now being scheduled at both the Glenwood and Starbuck Medical Centers.

Anne provides a wide range of women's health services, including prenatal and postpartum care, breastfeeding support, reproductive care and family planning, menopause management, colposcopies, and preventive gynecology.

Originally from rural northwest Iowa, Anne earned her bachelor's degrees in biology and nursing from Augustana College in South Dakota and completed her master's in nurse-midwifery at Philadelphia University in 2011. She has built trusted relationships with many women in the Alexandria area and looks forward to continuing their care while welcoming new patients in the Glenwood and Starbuck area. Anne shared that her goal is to provide care tailored to each individual's needs and support women through every stage of life.

Outside of work, Anne enjoys lake time, hiking, and being outdoors with her husband, their two boys, and their dogs. She is excited to continue serving women in west-central Minnesota through Glacial Ridge Health System.
