Pope County Fair is underway in Glenwood (VIDEO)

A wildly successful Birch Coulee Ranch Rodeo helped get the Pope County Fair off to a remarkable start in Glenwood on Thursday, July 31. Activities continue all day on Friday and Saturday, August 1-2. The main event on Sunday, August 3 features a Demolition Derby at the grandstand at 2 p.m. Livestock, open class and 4-H general projects are released on Sunday.

The fairway will include Ninja Anywhere and Knockerballs from 1 to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday of the fair.

The main event on Friday night is the Skidloader Rodeo at 6:30 p.m. in the grandstand. This is sponsored by Fauskee Oil of Brooten and Bonanza Valley Lumber of Brooten and Glenwood.

The main event on Saturday is a Truck and Tractor Pull that begins at 4 p.m. at the grandstand. Also on Saturday, the Pope County 4-H will host 4-H Ag Olympics at the Jack Morris Livestock Arena at 7 p.m.
