The Trinity and West Lake Johanna Lutheran church parish held a joint service at the Brooten city park on Sunday, July 27. The worship was a special farewell service for Pastor Jeanne Megorden and her husband, Pete, as she is retiring from the Lutheran Ministry at the end of the month. The Pope County Fair had a truly tremendous day of activities on Friday, August 1 in Glenwood. With temperatures hovering in the mid-70s and full sunshine, conditions were perfect for the outdoor events taking place at the fair.
