    The Belgrade-Brooten police department finished 2022 with a total of 1,837 incident complaint reports (ICRs) on the book. This represents about a six percent increase from 2021, when the total was 1,731 between the two towns. Belgrade-Brooten Police Chief Casey Jansky reported to the BB police board that new Automatic Electronic Defibrillators (AEDs) are in service.     The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa/Paynesville Pirouettes dance team hosted a six-team meet on Thursday, January 19 in Brooten. The Pirouettes JV Jazz squad took first place with a hard-fought win. Led by B-B-E Class of 2015 graduate and head coach Katie Boie, the Pirouettes went through what was a not-so-easy transition in mid-December to split up their 13-person roster into varsity and JV squads.
