    Easton Rood, who will be a third grader this fall at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa elementary school, has now beaten back two different bouts with cancer. On June 18, he returned from a 216-day stay in Rochester where he fought off AML Leukemia while going through a successful bone marrow transplant.     Lincoln's Restaurant in downtown Brooten will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this weekend, July 18, 19 and 20. For Friday, July 18, they will be serving food from 4 to 9 p.m. On Saturday, July 19, they will serve food from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Their Sunday hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Also, the bar is open one additional hour until 10 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.     The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars earned two convincing wins at the Babe Ruth state tournament in pool play games played in Urbank on Thursday, July 17. In game one, the Jaguars defeated Frazee 10-0 in 5 innings. Baron Breitbach pitched a complete game "No, No" with no hits given up.
