The No. 1-ranked Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars wrestling team vanquished defending state champion and previously-No. 1-ranked Kimball Area 32-25 on Tuesday, December 21 at Kimball. The Jaguars picked up key wins by decisions at 195 and 220 pounds by Carson Gilbert and Ethan Spanier. Head coach Jack Mueller spoke about the win during an interview with the Bonanza Valley Voice sports department the following day. The video is embedded below.

The Jaguars travel to Holdingford on Thursday, January 6 to resume competition. They host the Jaguar Invitational the next day with a 2:30 p.m. start time.
