For the second year in a row, the LifeLink III helicopter is scheduled to visit Bonanza Valley Days.
The helicopter is set to land between 5 and 7 p.m. on Friday, July 7 during the Brooten Fire Department's chicken BBQ supper fundraiser. It will not be able to visit if it is out on an emergency call, of course.
A video below features the landing (it had landed already) of the helicopter on July 8 at BVD last summer.
Friday update: the LifeLink III visit was cancelled due to the threat of poor weather. There was just too much uncertainty about a rain or thunderstorm coming towards Brooten on Friday night to make the landing work. The hopes are for this to be on the schedule for BVD 2024.
