The spring snowfall from the Easter weekend became part of the fun at the annual Brooten Easter egg hunt. For the second straight year due to late winter snowfall, the Easter egg hunt was held at the elementary school parking lot. An attached video features the children running off into the snowbanks to gather the candy.
This event was made possible by the generous donations and efforts of the Brooten Fire Relief Association, RJ's Mini Mart and the Fauskee and DeKok families.
