Earthy Elements making move to Belgrade

After getting her start last summer at The Shed in Brooten while sharing space with local business owners Jana Zenner and Angie Henke (Meraki Salon), Earthy Elements owner Ashley Zimmerle is now in the midst of a major move of the business to Belgrade.

Founded in 2022, Earthy Elements is this area's local flower, plant, gift and rock shop. Last summer, Zimmerle held an open house at her previous location in Brooten during Bonanza Valley Days. The business has grown since she moved it to Brooten, and she's excited for the next chapter.

Starting this past weekend, right on the heels of Valentine's Day, Zimmerle began packing up her shop to move into the Booster's building in Belgrade, where she'll join forces with Booster's owner Becky Mueller.

"Growth sometimes asks us to shift, and we're excited to share what's next!" said Zimmerle.

"Earthy Elements is moving into the same building as Booster's is located in downtown Belgrade. This will create a shared space within a warm, welcoming environment that is uplifting, community-centered and rooted in bringing people together."

"This next chapter allows us to continue creating with intention while expanding our offerings, workshops and floral designs in a space that truly reflects our vision."

Zimmerle explained that the move will take place over a period of just a couple of weeks if everything goes according to plan. Other announcements will be made via the newspaper and on Facebook.

"Thank you for continuing to grow with us!" she added. "We can't wait to keep growing together in our new location."

The business address for Booster's and Earthy Element is 303 Washburn Avenue. The Earthy Elements website is https://earthyelementsmn.com. (*Update: the website is undergoing maintenance as of Thursday, February 19.)

At The Shed in Brooten, owners Ben and Jana Zenner are expanding their existing Techno Metal Post business. For Meraki Salon, Henke is pursuing a new location for her business and can continue at her current location for the coming months.

On February 18, Zimmerle announced hours she will be open for the duration of February as she gets set up at Booster's. These hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates:

Thursday, February 19

Friday, February 20

Thursday, February 26

Friday, February 27

Saturday, February 28

For anyone who needs flowers, Zimmerle asks that people text or call her business number of 320-634-6604.

Upon re-opening in March, business hours will return to normal: Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
