    Glacial Ridge Ambulance's 9th Annual Holiday Toy Drive turned out to be the most successful one ever. Our generous community gave new toys, clothes and more including Minnewaska Laker stocking hats, jewelry, and cologne to brighten Christmas morning for area children and teens. The giving doesn't stop there. When ambulance crews were spending monetary donations to fulfill kids' wish lists, local stores contributed by giving discounts or additional gifts.     Led by championship efforts by Canon Swanson (106 pounds), Adam Jaeger (138) and Ben Thompson (195), the 11th-ranked Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars wrestling team took fifth place at their home invitational on Saturday. While Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg ran away with the title with 183 team points, a bottleneck occurred between second and fifth place.     A middle-aged man was seen by multiple witnesses dragging a leashed small dog down an alley in Elrosa at about 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, January 10. One individual who witnessed the incident yelled at the man, who ignored the plea to stop dragging the dog by the leash.     Very early on the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 01:35 hours, the Stearns County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a domestic disturbance call in the city of Belgrade. A Sheriff's Deputy arrived on scene about one minute later and found two subjects actively fighting in the residence. A 38-year old male that lived in the residence sustained multiple stab wounds, one that struck a lung, and was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.
