    Over 50 people attended a rural dairy discussion on June 12 in rural Roscoe that was organized by Minnesota Farmers Union. Farmers and other concerned citizens from across central Minnesota spoke for over an hour and a half on the price crisis facing the dairy industry.     Over 800 visitors enjoyed the live music of Bernie King and the Guilty Pleasures with a batch of freshly-made cheese curds at Redhead Creamery's Curd Fest on Saturday, June 16 in rural Padua.   • Regal Eagles nip Elrosa for Elite 8 tournament title

    The Regal Eagles amateur baseball team is repeat champions of the second annual Elrosa Elite 8 tournament. The Eagles achieved the feat after pulling off a 4-3 win over the host Saints in the title game on Sunday, July 17. Elrosa, 8-5 overall, leads the north division of the Stearns County League. Regal opened the tournament with a narrow 6-5 win over Clinton on Friday night. The Saints finished the night with a 12-2 win in six innings with Aaron Vogt pitching a complete game. On Saturday,...
