    Ziemer Auctions and Terry Hilbrands held a consignment auction in Belgrade on Saturday, September 9, as patches of rain held off for the most part while passing through the area. Turnout was strong while farmers came out not only to see what was for sale but also to visit with friends and neighbors from throughout the area.     John Anthony Sluss (80) formerly of Brooten, MN died August 3rd in his new home of Urbana, IL after a fall. John was preceded in death by his parents, Martha (Wilhite) and Anthony Sluss; and his sister Susan Sluss. John leaves behind his wife, Beverly (Brown) Sluss and his daughter Colleen (Jon) Gorman.
