The Brooten Senior Citizens held their Christmas party on Tuesday, December 11 at the KaDe Shack and the Brooten American Legion Hall. Laverne Reining gave two readings, one from the Bible and another from a Christmas story with a focus on veterans. Click on the video below to watch the reading....
For at least the fifth year in a row, the Brooten Commercial Club sponsored a lighted Christmas parade in downtown Brooten. The parade was held on Saturday, December 8. On Sunday, December 9 at Trinity Lutheran church in Brooten, the Sunday School children performed their annual Christmas musical program in place of the regular morning worship.
