A marvelous annual tradition at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa high school has been the Family and Consumer Science (FACS) foods class Gingerbread House project in December. This year a total of 11 houses were made over a two-plus week period of time leading up to the final week before the Christmas break. The God Squad (religious education) students of the Trinity and West Lake Johanna Lutheran parish of Brooten held their Christmas program on Sunday, December 11 at Trinity church. A week and a half after making a brief appearance at the Brooten Santa Day event on December 10, The Grinch appeared at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa high school during the last hour of classes before the Christmas break began on Wednesday, December 21.
