In the regular season finale last Thursday at Pierz, the Jaguars claimed a 3-2 win to take the CMC title alone for the ninth time in school history. A number of items were discussed at Monday night’s Brooten city council meeting (Oct. 12) ranging from the police report, the airport as well as buildint activity and a dilapitated building. For the first time since the 2012 season, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa volleyball team is champions of the Central Minnesota Conference. While at this point they've clinched a share of the title, the Jaguars have eyes on winning it outright with a win next week at Pierz.
