    Here's video from the Bonanza Valley Days kiddie parade held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 on Hatton Street. Later in the parade, the newspaper publisher made a light-hearted comment, and for the record: we love the Kirckofs! For many years in a row, they have been part of this BVD kiddie parade. Great job to Grandma Kara for driving the parade unit! Coverage of this parade will be published across both the July 14 and July 21 issues of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper....

    The Brooten Fire Department served over 680 on Friday, July 8 at the annual Bonanza Valley Days chicken BBQ supper. Video from the supper is posted below, and it includes footage of The Nite Owls of Sauk Centre performing. The weekend was truly remarkable in Brooten.     From the publisher's desk: We've had to put out an S.O.S. for a missing newspaper bundle with the U.S. Postal Service. I was alerted early this morning by a subscriber who owns a Glenwood business that they still haven't received the July 14 issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice. Throughout the day I learned from multiple other subscribers in the 56334 zip code that they did not receive the issue either. All told, approximately 125 newspapers are missing for approximately 125 subscribers. This is a big problem. Being one day late is not the worst...
