    Students at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, as young as the preschoolers on up through seniors, took in Veterans Day programs on Wednesday at the elementary and high school buildings. The B-B-E senior high band and choir performed at both events.     On Sunday, November 1, the combined congregations of Trinity Lutheran in Grove Lake and St. John's Lutheran in Villard, packed shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. The group filled 61 shoeboxes with items like: notebooks, pencils, crayons, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, washcloths, shirts, underwear, toys, hair items, stuffed animals, and candy.     The second annual Minnesota Kendama Open is this Saturday and Sunday at the Mall of America in Bloomington.
