Easton Rood, who will be a third grader this fall at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa elementary school, has now beaten back two different bouts with cancer. At about 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, the Brooten Fire Department and Brooten Ambulance responded to a fire call on School Avenue. The fire was located in a private home that is currently unoccupied and for sale.
