The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Resistance Robotics team made history on Sunday, March 26 at La Crosse, Wisconsin, as they were selected to advance to the playoffs of the North Star regional competition. For the 33rd year dating back to 1990, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa school hosted the annual Sno-Daze coronation. In the early years, this was held at B-B-E senior high school in Brooten, and after 1995, it has been held continuously at the B-B-E high school in Belgrade. A marvelous annual tradition at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa high school has been the Family and Consumer Science (FACS) foods class Gingerbread House project in December. This year a total of 11 houses were made over a two-plus week period of time leading up to the final week before the Christmas break. On October 13, fire fighters from the Elrosa, Belgrade and Brooten fire departments visited classroom and spoke with students at the B-B-E elementary school.
